Aleš's South Bohemian Gallery in Hluboká nad Vltavou manages small but significant collection of Flemish and Dutch painting, that focus on landscapes, still lifes, marinas and genre paintings and also several paintings with religious and allegorical content. Thanks to the complex history of its construction, this collection is one of the most remarkable in our country. The collection from the gallery's property is supplemented by the collection of the České Budějovice lawyer Vlastislav Zátka, who built it between 1918 and 1941.
