Švabinský is one of the important representatives of the generation that formed the foundations of the modern artistic tradition at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The exhibition focuses on Švabinský's rich graphic legacy, which it follows in thematic units accompanied by excerpts from the artist's own texts to authentically present his firm artistic and life attitudes. It also provides an expanded view of Max Švabinský's pedagogical contribution, as he led the graphic design school at the Prague Academy from 1910 to 1928 and greatly influenced the next generation of emerging artists.
