The exhibition of the Czech artist and musician Václav Vaculovič (*1957) is one of the outcomes of a broader retrospective exhibition project. In terms of his painting approaches, he is characterised by the shifting boundary between figurative and abstract form. The artist, who has exhibited in prestigious galleries in Europe and overseas, returns to the Czech state galleries after a hiatus of almost twenty years. The exhibition The Urgency of Time is part of this year's XXXIII International Festival of Contemporary Art FORFEST CZECH REPUBLIC 2022.
