The library is open by prior appointment via phone or email.

The library of the Regional Gallery of Fine Arts in Zlín is open to the public and focuses on specialized literature in the field of fine arts, including architecture, applied arts, photography, and related disciplines. Its collection currently consists of approximately 25,000 publications, exhibition catalogs, and volumes of periodicals.

Visitors can work in the reading room, which seats 8 people and features one computer with internet access. In addition to monographs, encyclopedias, specialized dictionaries, and exhibition catalogs, the latest issues of magazines such as Architect+, Art Antiques, Ateliér, A2, Era21, Fotograf, Labyrint revue, Památková péče, Umění, and Zlatý řez are available for on-site reading. Foreign magazines include, for example, Art, Ars, Kunstforum International, and Projekt. The library collection is cataloged using the Tritius library management system.

In recent years, in conjunction with exhibitions on Zlín architecture and Zlín architects, the library has focused on collecting information about Zlín architects and Zlín architecture—both contemporary and pre-war, including the Baťa era. The library is building a collection of newspaper clippings about regional visual artists.
