Personal Data Processing Information

The Regional Gallery of Fine Arts in Zlín, a contributory organisation established by the Zlín Region, is based at Vavrečkova 7040, 760 01 Zlín, Czech Republic (Company ID: 00094889). Its main purpose is to support the cultural, social, scientific, public information and educational needs of the public.

In carrying out its activities, the Regional Gallery of Fine Arts in Zlín, as the data controller, processes personal data primarily for the following purposes:

a. Maintaining a mailing list for invitations to exhibition openings and exhibitions, as well as for sending information and news updates.

b. Maintaining records of collection items and related information.

c. Managing contractual relationships.

Information on the Processing of Personal Data

1. Legal basis for processing

Personal data are processed on the legal bases set out in Article 6(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

Article 6(1)(a): the data subject has given consent to the processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes.

Article 6(1)(b): processing is necessary for the performance of a contract.

Article 6(1)(e): processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest.

2. Disclosure of personal data

Personal data are not disclosed to third parties unless the organisation is required to provide them to public authorities, government bodies or institutions under specific legislation.

3. Automated decision-making

The organisation does not use automated processing of personal data to make decisions or take actions that affect the rights or legitimate interests of individuals.

4. Data retention

Personal data are processed only for as long as necessary for the relevant processing purpose. Retention periods vary according to the purpose. Once this period has expired, personal data are securely destroyed or retained for the period specified in the applicable records management and disposal schedule, issued in accordance with Act No. 499/2004 Coll. on Archiving and Records Management.

Request access to your personal data.

Withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before it was withdrawn.

Request the rectification of inaccurate personal data if you believe that the information processed by the Regional Gallery of Fine Arts in Zlín is incorrect.

Request the erasure of your personal data or the restriction of their processing.

Object to the processing of your personal data.

Request the portability of personal data you have provided to the Regional Gallery of Fine Arts in Zlín.

Lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
