House of Arts III: A Guide to the Protected Territory of Contemporary Art

The exhibition project presents a selection of prominent Czech artists from several generations whose work explores contemporary themes through sculpture, installation, photography, video, drawing and intermedia projects. Responding to changing perceptions of contemporary art, the exhibition offers visitors an accessible guide to help them navigate its often challenging visual and conceptual landscape. Particular emphasis is placed on the viewer’s active experience, the spatial design of the exhibition and the connection between art and the everyday experience of contemporary life.

The exhibition is on view on the first floor of Building 14 at 14|15 BAŤA INSTITUTE and at Kolektiv.Haus (Osvoboditelů 3778, Zlín).
